became known for their long standing tradition of collecting a unique scent from every city they visited. Through their adventures around the world, they perfected the process of translating memories, people, food, nightlife, and notes from their travels into fragrance—and are honored to share their tradition with the world.
The concept of creating the WORLD OF PHI began when they couldn’t find a scent to take home from a trip to Mykonos. They wanted to bring back a fragrance as a souvenir that was made specially for the city—and they spent all day looking for one at shops in Little Venice and Mykonos Town. They found shirts, jewelry, postcards, handcrafted bags but could not find a single fragrance made uniquely for the restaurants, the people, the food, and the feeling that makes Mykonos so special—so when they got back home they decided to make it themselves.
They had so much fun thinking of a scent to remember their trip to Mykonos that they decided to create a scent for each city they visited. That was how PHI was born.
Rooted in the identical twins’ experience in the film industry as graduates of the world’s most renowned film school—USC School of Cinematic Arts and the Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles—-PHI reimagines fine fragrance through the lens of cinematic storytelling as they aspired to craft a fragrance that smells like a montage of moments from each city they visited.
